As required by the bylaws of Pittsburgh South Hills Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter, in each odd-numbered year chapter officers (with the exception of the President-elect) will be nominated, slated, and elected for two-year terms beginning on July 1st of that year. This election process requires several steps and must conclude by March 31st.
Please find below the Proposed Slate of Officers, which has been compiled by the nominating committee. Please note that a proposed list of Standing Committee members is also included. These positions are not elected but will be appointed by the new executive committee for two-year terms also.
Please review the slate of proposed officers below and respond by submitting this form or send an email by February 23, if you would like to nominate one or more additional candidate(s) to any office.
Unfortunately, because of COVID-19 concerns, we will not be able to vote together in-person. Therefore, after the names of any additional candidates are received and the slate finalized, an electronic ballot will be sent to all members in good standing via email for the official vote.
Installation of our new officers and committee members will be done at our May meeting.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or call any of the nominating committee members below.

The past fiscal year has been unprecedented from many perspectives and will not soon be forgotten. However, the anxiety and concern for the health and welfare of our families, friends, our nation, and people beyond our borders have in many ways brought us closer together and sparked renewed energy to “Do Good” whenever and wherever we can. Responding to the COVID 19 crisis has offered new opportunities to support our communities, our sisterhood, and our philanthropic purpose. It has spawned creativity in programming and technology, and has put us in-touch with DG sisters we do not often see. It continues to require us to re-think the status quo and work on developing novel approaches to collegiate outreach, new alumnae membership recruitment, events planning, meeting venues, and so much more.
Before we move forward, however, I want to take a moment to thank and congratulate each and every member of our alumnae chapter. Your dedication, sisterhood support, and joy in Doing Good culminated in three special recognition awards at our recent 2020 Delta Gamma Fraternity Convention. We received the Region 1 Outstanding Philanthropy Service Award, shared the Region 1 Alumnae Award of Excellence (Best Chapter Award) with the New York City chapter, and brought home Division 1’s runner-up award for Outstanding Alumnae Chapter. I’m sure we all felt the same feelings of excitement and pride as our chapter’s name was announced each time.
As we move through the next fiscal year and confront the new challenges and opportunities that surely await us, I know we will do so with the unwavering support of each other and our broader Fraternity. The building of friendships, character, social responsibility, and community awareness is a lifetime endeavor. As heard during the recent fraternity convention, we must enjoy our commonality, celebrate our differences, and continue to always grow as individuals and as a fraternity of women who share a set of high ideals.
I look forward to growing with all of you!
