Our group consists of women who pledged Delta Gamma Fraternity and now live in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh. Delta Gamma’s alumnae groups help us stay connected and continue to support our philanthropy. This website is your official resource for Pittsburgh South Hills alumnae news, events and foundation activities.
A message from our President:
Welcome to another great year! Chartered on February 23, 1959, our membership has welcomed Delta Gamma alumnae living in and around the South Hills of Pittsburgh for almost 60 years!
Please check out our calendar and see if there is an event (or more) that interests you. We have many opportunities such as lunch bunches, evening couples/friends gatherings, cultural events, craft days, exercise classes, events for our 50+ year members along with general meetings with guest speakers. We even started a special interested group last year for women to play Mah Jongg together. We raise money for our Foundation and Service for Sight Projects by selling Pecans each Fall. To be in good standing as an alumna, you are simply asked to pay your annual local dues. There is no requirement to attend any particular meeting. Simply attend what appeals to you and what your schedule allows. Know that you are always welcome and valued whenever you attend any Delta Gamma event.
I find this group so unique because we all come from different chapters, different professions and different ages but we share the common ties of sisterhood. Come learn and laugh alongside your sisters and let’s let our common bond bring us together as we begin our 2017-2018 year. Let’s Do Good together!
In the bonds,
Beta Nu, Carnegie Mellon University
